Last Season’s Record

10-18

Players from last season’s Team who moved on to 4 Year Level

 Micah Goss – Norfolk State

Quincy Poitier – Concord University

 Tayte Kitts – Arkansas Monticello

Top Returning Players

6’7 – Shamir Rolle PF/C.  Averaged 6 PPG and 4 RPG last season.  Lost an immense amount of weight over the offseason.  Should help his stats and recruitment improve drastically going into this season.

6’7 – Chris Cook SF.  Missed most of last season with an injury.  In the preseason, he’s been getting a lot of attention.  A couple of Division 2 and NAIA schools have shown interest due to his length, athleticism, and shooting ability.

6’4 – Josh Shannon PF/SF.  Incredible motor.  Finished third in our league last season in RPG at 8.

5’9 – Charles Perry PG.  Has an offer from KY Wesleyan.  Other D2 programs are recruiting pretty hard.  Easily a Division 1 PG.  Averaged 15 PPG last season while shooting 42% from 3 last season and finished second in our league in Assists Per Game at 6.

Top Newcomers

6’10 – Cheick Kone C.  Transferred from the University of the Phillipines.  Big, long, and athletic.  Really learning to use his body well.  Already getting the attention of Mid-Major programs.

6’8.5 – Awana Bertrand PF/C.  Also transferring in from the University of the Phillipines.  Incredible amount of potential.  Freakish length and athleticism.

6’3 – William Johnson CG.  Big, thick and strong as an ox.  Came in last year at Christmas to redshirt.  Already getting Division 2 interest.

6’3 – Grant Holt SG.  Shoots the ball at a very high level.  Still needs developing, but is a very good shooter.

6’0 – Ricky Shearman PG.  Smooth PG with a really nice handle.

5’10 – Geevantay Gee PG.  Lockdown defender.  Great at creating for everyone on his team.  Gets to the free throw line at will.
