Perfect November for Chargers

Most Junior College Programs are trying to figure out their team in November, however, this is not the case for Columbia State (TN) as second year Head Coach Brian Collins has his team off to a 11-0 start and currently ranked 14th in the country in the latest NJCAA Poll.  “Its always great to get off to a good start, but our guys know how vital it is for us to be playing our best basketball come March,” said Collins of his teams early success.  Chargers are led by 6’5 Redshirt Freshman High Flyer TJ Dunans at 17ppg, D1Transfer Sophomore Matt Smith leads team in Rebounding with 8.5 per game.  The pot is stirred by Freshmen Point Guard Justin Pride who keeps everyone involved and is currently leading the country at 8.5apg.  The Chargers may have enough fire power to compete for a Tennessee State Championship this year; we are looking forward to following their progress throughout the season.
