6’3 Leroy “Shaq” Buchanan hit the national scene last summer at our #JucoReportElite150 and in turn did not disappoint during his freshman campaign for Coach Cord Wright at Northeast Mississippi when he went on to average 14ppg/5.7rpg/2.7apg helping his team reach the NJCAA National Tournament. Buchanan is one of the most athletic guards in the nation with an ability to create his own shot and an explosiveness to finish at the rim that is going to make him one of the most recruited guards in the country next season.   Buchanan scored in double digits on 17 different occasions as a freshman including 9 games when he dropped 15 or more points.  We expect Buchanan to continue to solidify his standing as one of top guards in Nation July 9th at #JucoReportElite150 in Atlanta, GA.
