6’1 Adrian Hicks of Columbia State finished last season as one of the top freshman guards nationally after averaging 17.8ppg/4.5rpg/3.6apg/3spg while being named the TCCAA Freshman of the year.  Hicks scored in double digits in 24 games including 8 games of 20 or more points with a season high of 36points.  Hicks has an uncanny ability to create his own shot off the bounce including getting to the rim using his shifty handle or pulling up in the midrange.  Hicks also has the ability to hit from the outside when he gets going on offense as he had a game where he hit 8 3’s   On the defensive end, you have to be aware of where Hicks is at all times because of his ability to get into the passing lanes and create transition scoring opportunities.  Hicks will test his talents versus some of the top players in the nation at our JucoReport.com #JucoReportElite150 on July 9th and our #JucoReportTop100 on July 23rd, both being held in Atlanta.
