Every year there is a south Georgia hooper that goes the Juco route and uses this time to polish his game to make him a Division I prospect leading into his sophomore season, this year that breakout player may be Albany, GA native 6’7 Jordan Young from South Georgia State. Young is a 6’7 agile forward that plays his tail off on both ends of the floor and goes even harder in the weight room getting stronger to battle in the paint night in and night out . We expect Young to have a breakout year for Cory Baldwin’s Hawks down in Waycross. Young is a high energy forward , that can step out and make the 18 foot jumper and make plays inside. Young played in our #JucoReportElite150 event and will be back with his teammates at our #JucoReportTop100 event July 23rd in Atlanta. Young current is receiving interest from schools in the MEAC, SWAC, ASUN, and Big South Conferences.
