Standing at 6’4 Garrett Crandell of Roane State is a highly productive slashing wing who averaged 12.4ppg/3.2rpg/2.0apg as a freshman.  Crandell exploded during the conference tournament averaging 24.5ppg/8rpg and shot 6/11 from 3 in games versus Columbia State and Motlow State earning All Tournament Team honors.  Crandell excels at finishing at the rim in the half court and in transition using his length to his advantage.  He has a number of different scoring options when he puts the ball on the deck in the half court including pulling up off the dribble, getting to rim, or using a variety of spin moves to get his his shot off.  Crandell is a capable 3 point shooter and we expect that to improve with the work he is putting in during the off season.  Crandell will be one of the top players in the southeast next season, but first he will jump start his recruitment at our #JucoReportElite150 July 15th and #JucoReportTop100 July 22nd in Atlanta.
