2 CVCC Players To Keep Eye On

(SO) James Barnes -6’7 Small Forward is what a Coach want in a Forward.  He is Long and Athletic that can Handle and Shoot it well for his Size. Barnes also can also play the point forward position when needed.  Most importantly is his length and athleticism allows him to guard multiple positions on the defensive end of the floor.

(FR) Ronnie Battle– 5’10 Combo Guard was the difference Maker in the Game versus SGT. This kid can flat out shoot the cover out the ball.  He is a Freshman but he made some veteran shots to help CVCC get the win, battle hit both the 3 point shot to send the game into overtime and the game winning 3 during overtime.  Battle has a great pedigree as he is the Son of former Auburn Great Ronnie Battle.

 South Georgia Tech Freshman Watch
(FR)Vantrail Commings- We have seen Commings on multiple occasions and each time we are always impressed with his efficiency on the offensive end as he does a great job getting to the rim and using his body to draw contact to get to the Free Throw Line.  In this game in particular Commings finished with 16pts on 7-13 shooting from the floor.  Commings has used his efficiency to help him average just over 9points per game up to this point in the season shooting 54% from the floor.
