The Nation’s top Junior College prospect is off the board. 6’5 TJ Dunans went on a unofficial visit to Auburn this weekend and came away fired up and decided to end his recruitment and play for Coach Bruce Pearl. Dunans has been a top priority for the Auburn coaching staff since they got the job and has been working non stop to get the 6’5 high flying multi-skilled player. Our JucoReport staff caught up with Dunans on Sunday for a few minutes to see why he decided to end his recruitment early “The Auburn staff has been recruiting me for a long time and  Coach Pearl’s system will fit my style of play where I can blossom at a high level.  I have always wanted to play at a High level and the SEC is a great conference to showcase my skills and help Auburn get to the Final Four.  I was interested in Coach Pearl when I was coming out of high school when he was at Tennessee and to have a chance to play for him at Auburn which is close to my family in Atlanta is a blessing. One of the first things I wanted to do in my recruiting process was to speak with Coach Pearl and I was the first to talk to him Sunday at midnight and as you can tell it went well ” said Dunans. Now with the Juco All- American off the board he now can concentrate on school work and leading Columbia State back to the National Tourney at Hutch.  Dunans had schools all across the country chasing him since he participated in both JucoReport.com the #ATLLive (Spring Open Period) and the #JucoReportElite150 (Summer Open Period).  Stay tuned to JucoReport as we will keep track of Dunans and his Columbia State team starting this fall at the #CBHoops Juco Jam ATL on Oct 18 at Suwannee Sports Academy.
