Howard Smith 6’4-Howard Red-Shirted last season due to an ankle injury. He is a 6’4” 205 pound 3/4 shooter that has deep range. He can shoot off screens, in transition and off the bounce. He is relentless on the glass, especially on the offensive end. He has a strong, wide body that allows him to mix it up inside as well. He currently has a 3.39 GPA and is on pace to graduate in the spring. This weekend will be his first ever college game.

Roydell Brown– ULL Transfer, started 10 games as a sophomore
He is a 6’5” 195 pound wing that can play both inside/out and defend at a very high level. He has really worked on his perimeter skills and is unstoppable in the open court. He will be a standard 4-2-4 transfer and currently has 2.77 GPA. Offers from multiple schools including—Jacksonville State, NW State, New Orleans, Nicholls state, lots of mid level interest.

Ricardo Lynch (Miami Dade Transfer)
Ricardo transferred to us from Miami Dade CC where he averaged 11.9 ppg and 4.4 rpg last season. He is 6’7” 210 pounds and can play in the post or on the perimeter. He is a 4 man that is a long and athletic and can really stretch the floor with his ability to shoot. He transferred in a 2.54 GPA and is on pace to graduate in the spring. Devon Benson-Devon originally signed with Jones CC and Redshirted all of last year. He is a 6’7” 230 pound forward and was one of the top players in the state out of high school. He is very solid at all aspects of his game on both ends of the floor and has a Division I body. Will need summer to graduate, but will be DI eligible.

John Knight III – John is a true freshman that qualified out of high school. John is a 6’2” 190 pound explosive point guard that has a high major body. He is an elite player that can get to the rim at ease and can finish well above the rim. His ability to defend full court is something special to watch. His mid-range game is complete and his range to three has developed immensely during his first month on campus. He has a high major ceiling and his potential is unlimited. TJ Ben—TJ was a big time scorer in high school. He has unlimited range and has great shooting touch. He is a sneaky athlete and can play both inside and out. He is a great offensive rebounder and has a knack for the ball. At 6’4” 200 pounds he will play some 3 and 4 for this year. Freshman Qualifier

Aleksa Dobrijevic—Aleksa comes to us from Belgrade, Serbia for his freshman season. He is a left handed sharp shooter that is a high IQ player with a crafty offensive game. He is a legit 6’7” and is 195 pounds. Qualifying Fresh—Will be open to any level.

Quez Williamson—Quez is a 6’2” 185 pound, long, athletic wing that can do a variety of things on both ends of the floor. He will be a Division I prospect due to his length and ability score at all three levels. He is a great competitor and will help us tremendously as a role player in his freshman season.

Robert “Bob” Boyd—Bob has a high level frame, standing at 6’1” and 190 pounds. He is by far our toughest kid and has a relentless motor, especially on the defensive end. He is a left handed shooter and will find the floor this year with his ability to create his own shot and defend. He loves the weight room and is a high energy prospect.

Charles Winston—Charles is a 5’7” 150 pound shot of lightening. He has one speed, fast. He is very quick and will be a great defender in our pressing defense. He makes others better by his ability to get to the paint.

Won the Mississippi State title in 2016, have had 9 players sign Division I scholarships in past 3 years and had the highest Team GPA in the nation the past two years, including a team GPA of 3.59 which is the second highest all time in the history of the NJCAA.
